3-Ingredient Banana Breakfast Bars

Store-bought granola bars can contain a lot of unwanted ingredients. This simple recipe uses whole foods for a healthy breakfast or snack option.

6 ripe bananas

400 g gluten-free oats (roughly 4 cups)

1 teaspoon cinnamon

2 tablespoons water


  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the peeled bananas.
  3. Add in the oats, cinnamon and water and mix together.
  4. Line a square baking tin with parchment paper and pour in the mix. Press down firmly with the back of a fork until the surface is even.
  5. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes before slicing into bars.
  7. Enjoy immediately, store in a sealed container at room temperature or freeze.
