Peppermint Patties

A healthier alternative to this classic mint-chocolatey treat. 


  • 2 cups coconut oil, room temperature
  • ½ cup of honey
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 3 3oz dark chocolate bars, at least 72% cacao


  1. In a bowl, mix the 2 cups of coconut oil, honey and peppermint extract. Form the patties out of the mixture and place on a plate lined with parchment paper. Place in freezer to harden.
  2. While waiting, melt the chocolate bars over medium low heat in a saucepan. Remove from heat to cool for 5-10 minutes.
  3. Dip the hardened patties in the chocolate until covered and place back on the plate. Place in the freezer until chocolate has hardened.
